Las Artes provides opportunities for youth, ages 16-21, living in Maricopa County. The Valley of the Sun YMCA and Maricopa County have joined forces to bring this innovative youth program to the West Valley. This program blends fine art and academic instruction, social and emotional support, GED and work readiness training.

"The Rise Exhibit
action, advocacy, arts: an open mind is a canvas for change."

The 2011 summer youth exhibition gives a platform for the voice and art of local youth. The arts are an avenue for the youth to express their stories. Opening reception June 17, 2011, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
